“Indiana Jones”… What a great character and a perfect 80′s costume. When “Raiders of the Lost Ark” hit the theaters in 1981, it was the biggest movie…ever!
The 1980′s was a great year for the movie industry and much had to do with the Indiana Jones Trilogy which had mega productions in 1981, 1984 and 1989. Which means as far as 80’s costumes go… No look is Bigger than “Indiana Jones”.
Non-Stop action and nothing like it before. The opening scene was “arm-chair-gripping” and it never let up… Still a huge hit and probably why Indian Jones costumes are so popular today. Classic to the outfit are the hat and the whip.
You can also have a Dad and Son duo by using a look alike Indian Jones child costume. So. “Whip-Up” that 80’s party and go as Indiana Jones…
